Three careers
Twenty-one years in uniform. Eleven at Clear-Com. Conefer since 2019.
The Guard
Twenty-one years running communications for the National Guard, New Mexico and then California. Communications is a process before it's equipment. Who talks to whom, in what order, what happens when a step fails. That's what I ran.
Clear-Com
Eleven years, four roles, ending as Solutions Director for U.S. Military, Aerospace, and Federal Government. Every customer conversation started with their problem, not our product. I worked it through with them until the right answer was clear, and when the right answer wasn't us, I said so. Then I taught the sales team to work the same way.
Conefer
I started Conefer in 2019. I work with business owners on the AI already running in their business: what it's doing, what it's costing, and what should have been built instead. I build that myself, or tell them what to stop paying for. More than 26 organizations so far, and Conefer is an OpenAI Select Partner. I also teach, for owners who'd rather do the work themselves.

Off the clock
Home is Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
Off the clock it's friends, travel, volunteering, and learning something new. Not many people know this one: during my Guard years I was also a DJ, mixing live with samples, transitions, and pitch.
How I work
You're the expert in your business. Don't hire me to invent your processes.
Hire me to automate the processes you already understand. Sometimes the answer is don't buy it. I'll say so, and we both save time. At Clear-Com I took the word sales out of my own title so customers would talk to me. Same reason.
